Quod oculus meus videt

Fishley Rover Sunrise

It was a beautiful start to the day.  I hadn't visited this location for some time, but it seemed a perfect spot to take advantage of the pre sunrise sky with its reflections in the water of the canal.

Later we visited Wightwick Manor near Wolverhampton, a National Trust property, which was very popular, probably because it was the first day where Christmas Decorations were in the house.  They are working on the Mathematical Bridge, which crosses a local road called Wightwick Bank, requiring its closure until January.  We were told it wasn't proving popular with local residents.

Later we dropped in on L's Mom.  It still upsets me to see the continuing deterioration in her from dementia.  She does things and immediately forgets what she's done, causing her confusion. She never seems to be at peace with herself these days.
