There are not many flowers in the local garden centre since much of the space has been cleared for Christmas trees and this cyclamen was one of the few flowers. I have never seen this type before which is very different from the normal and think it may be a new variety.
The Djix's flowers are inverted, with five large dark red petals that curve backwards and are surrounded by a small collar of white sepals. The Djix blooms from October through January. Super Serie Djix is known for its unique flower shape with downward facing petals.
Meanwhile a robin was hopping around on the floor below which was my intended blip till I noticed this cyclamen
