New lamps for old

Black Tech Friday.

The new "puter arrived mid afternoon so it was time to start the task that I most hate in life, changing computers.
I suppose that if the truth were told, doing it once every 10 or 11 years isn't too bad, but  that doesn't stop me hating it.
So, Recommission the laptop by setting it back to factory specs, I have a plan for it.
Commission the new machine by setting that up with all the bullshit that comes with it.
Decommission the old machine so that I can donate it somewhere.

Let's hope I'm not up all effn night with this, we'll make it look nice tomorrow.
