Welcome, Rain!

It's been a wet few days, perfect for a lovely rain-soaked walk in the Arboretum, and the inspiration for next Monday's Mono Monday theme (I'm hosting December).  Also the inspiration to get a waterproof case for my iphone since there's nothing worse than a walk where photography is limited by the use of a sandwich bag for protection. (Yes, I know it is somewhat waterproof, but I forgot a lens cloth, and I have a naturally anxious disposition).

I've posted the themes in Community, but they can take a while to come live, so in the interim here's what I'm planning:

The optional themes for this month are:

2nd December - #MM567 RAIN/GRAIN (grain could be analog photography (scanned film photography), or any other meaning of grain)

9th  December - #MM568 STREET… (preferably street photography, or else anything involving the word street, eg street art, street lamp, streetcar, street libraries …. )

16th December #MM569 MOTION (capturing movement, playing with slow shutter speed, freezing motion, ICM….)

23rd December  #MM570 EMOTION (preferably a portrait, but anything that’s emotion laden will do)

30th December #MM571 REFLECTION (it’s that time of year, so take the theme literally or figuratively)

It’s a pretty hectic month for me (well, I guess for most of us!)  I’ll aim to star and comment on all entries, but probably limit myself to 5 hearts. I'll post results Fridays (in my journal, and linked back to the post in Community).  I don’t mind liberal/creative interpretations of the themes and I love anything that makes me smile!

Looking forward to seeing all your entries, and hoping some of the themes catch your interest.
