Woodshed
Thanksgiving - lots to be thankful for even in this strange, scary time in our country. We expected a quiet day at home, and that we had, but we also had a number of interruptions by phone and in person: Ty came by to help me fill the porch with wood, and Dianne came by with a gift of fresh bread and a pumpkin pie she made.
Dean, Sarah, and little Winnie left their dog with Ty and their car with us while they’re away until Tuesday. When Ty came here with the dog in tow, Harlow began whining as soon as she came inside, when he let her out in the back yard, she headed for the carport and as close as she could get to Dean’s car. She must have smelled it and had expected to see them. What a confusing life it must be for a pet, a confined animal.
