Gilfach

A damp walk this morning through the  Marteg valley near Rhayader. I stopped at the Gilfach waterfalls for a couple of hours looking for Atlantic salmon which have to get above this point to reach their spawning grounds. Although I saw five fish, none of them managed the leap and my photographs were unworthy. Came back via the summit of Yr Wylorn (475m) but it was in the clouds so, again, no photographs.
