Working

A couple of days working at a conference. It's the German-British Urban Diplomacy Exchange Partnership Conference at the Institut Français in the city centre. Representatives from a number of city partnerships between the two countries, focusing their attention on empowering young people and strengthening local policies through partnerships. Some interesting sessions and a very engaged group of participants. There was an evening reception in Greyfriars Hall - a new venue for me, that looked very impressive. It's part of the newish Virgin Hotel that opened in 2022 having been converted in to an event venue from a former church building.
