Coalhill flats

We looked at one of the penthouses in this block when we were looking to buy a flat, but we decided that we wanted to have "an outside" (well, I did). Good choice, I would say, given how we felt about having an outside when the pandemic hit. Quite a striking building, however. The name is so resonant of what came before, but no other signs of that.

Quiet day, post travelling. Down to the market, where we saw DaveH and meles, and had coffee with the latter. DaveH having bought some bacon from Peelham Farm inspired me to ask Mr A to make a "breakfast" for dinner today. A yearning, let's call it that.

The temperature continues to yo yo, and was decidedly warmer again today. We've definitely consumed less electricity this year. I'm glad to have caught up on my blipping again.

Today was notable for being - on the same day - the memorial service for Alex Salmond and the funeral service of Janey Godley.
