Still smiling

My sock felt rather soggy as I ventured out to pop some recycling in the bins and I discovered my poor old slipper had sprung a leak.  It is still smiling through the decay, but has now been consigned to the bin.

These were very comfy so I hoped I could just get the same pair again but no luck.  They had the same shape but in horrid patterns that would have annoyed me each time I wore them so I have chosen a different style instead.

I always find slippers and purses so hard to replace.  The ones you have always seem so perfect and it is a real adjustment when you have to get something different - or maybe that is just me!
