What I've Done

The centenary stones, Calfclose Bay

Carved from a boulder of Volcanic Rock from the Borrowdale Valley, the Centenary stones were sculpted in 1995 to commemorate the first 100 years of the National Trust.

They're a great indicator of the depth of the Lake - sometimes they're well above the water line (as they were only two weeks ago, other times, they're totally submerged. We've had a fair bit of rain over the past week or so.

I needed a 0.9 grad on the sky, and a big stopper allowed me a 2 minute exposure to smooth the very rough surface of the lake.
