CHRISTMAS PRESENT

No need to go out for shopping or parcels today so I had a day at  home.  Did a few chores and at 3pm I settled down to listen to the footie on the radio.  Newcastle were playing away at Crystal Palace.  It was a dreadful match. Neither side played well.  Newcastle didn't have one shot on target.  They did get a goal on the scoresheet - an own goal by a Crystal Palace player on 53rd minute.  No more goals in the second half and it looked as though Newcastle were going to get an undeserved win..... but Crystal Palace scored in the 4th minute of added on time.  So it was a draw.  Felt like a loss though - so near to getting the 3 points.  Newcastle need to play better if they are going to get anywhere this season. 

Even though I wasn't collecting parcels in the village I still got some today.  There were deliveries from Royal Mail, Evri and Amazon... all Christmas presents.  Ive featured one of them as my blip.  A lovely soft fleecy blanket I got from Printerpix. I used one of my own photos of Luna.   Its a Christmas present for Neil and Rachael.

It was another cold day today but we did have some bright sunshine earlier.  However it got dark around 3.30pm so I had to close the curtains and put the light on.  A very short day.

Watched Strictly this evening.  Enjoyed all the musical themed numbers.  Thought Sarah and Vito were particularly good.
