St Catherine of Siena - The Burrell Collection.

I had such a lovely day today after I dropped Jim at the airport. 
I took a friend  to The Burrell Collection to take part in a creative writing workshop there. It related to a painting called The Snow by Henri Eugene Augustin le Sidaner ( see extra)

I loved it all. Childhood memories of snow  and its power to transform the dull and unbeautiful in a moment.  
We enjoyed a nice lunch and a wander round the main ground floor  gallery . 
I liked the way the light fell on St Catherine of Siena . 
A lovely day.
