Two surprises

When I came home from dialysis today, I was pleasantly surprised to find Sylvie curled up on this living room chair.  She hasn't done that in a long time, preferring to be in the workroom or on the bed.  But five hours later she's still there and I am hopeful that I'll be able to see her when I'm in the living room from now on.

The second surprise was a message from Gena, asking if I'd like to meet her and Terri for brunch in Edmonds on Monday.  They're bringing Terri's daughter, who's just had foot surgery, down to see a physical therapist that day.  I was so happy!  I haven't seen them in a long time and I do miss them so.  So something great to look forward to.  

I was planning to visit Lex tomorrow to give her a goodbye hug, as they leave for Hawaii on Monday.  But she's developed a dreadful cold and so I need to stay away.  I'm concerned that she'll be flying with such a stuffed up head - it's a long trip.
