The cars are so big

and the ducklings so small. Hearts in our mouths, we watched these ducklings cross busy Davistown Road. They had only one parent protecting them, which is unusual.
 
An hour later they had crossed back again and were showing every sign of attempting a third crossing. Why? Something has gone wrong with this duck family, I fear.
