Living for the Weekend

Up and out early to take the Lotus down to the Haddenham Classics car meet but it wasn't playing ball with a totally dead battery, despite being on tricle charge. A quick car juggle and I took Bobby the Triumph instead. A nice meet with about 70 cars gathered. Back home, I made the most of Black Friday offers and located a battery locally which was collcted and installed, one happy Lotus again.

This evening we were into London to Camden Roundhouse to see the excellent Hard-Fi live. We saw them just over a year ago in Oxford when they had reformed for some dates after a 9 year hiatus. They are now releasing new material and we got a mix of new and old tonight. Although the lead singer was under the weather and asked for crowd support, he probably didn't need to as it was a great performance and the lively crowd needed little encouragement to sing along. We were pretty close to the stage too. A good night.
