Greek Chicken

Tonights tea instead of a barbie as it coincided with a thunderstorm. Originally made with rabbit, a long time since we have cooked this. simple but tasty.

Ingredients:

chicken 4 breasts & 4 thighs pref filleted
cinnamon 2 tsps flat
12 - 16 cloves
lemon juice to taste - 2 tbsp
2 x tinned chopped tomatoes standard size
salt and pepper to taste

method:

chop chicken into lg pieces
marinade in spices and lemon overnight if poss, not necessary but tastier
fry chicken in olive oil till sealed
add tomatoes
cook for 45 - 55 mins on top of stove
add further spices and salt and pepper to taste
serve with green salad/rice/french stick or all three - oh and a bottle of chilled Retsina
