“Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore”

Had a morning relaxing and watching a Hallmark film: ‘Holiday Touchdown: a Chiefs Love story’. 

I’ll let you into a secret, we know virtually nothing about sport in the UK, and know even less about American Football. That said, we enjoyed the film and feel we now know a little about this sport as well as Kansas City. For starters, we now know that Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend plays for them, and there is more to Kansas than the Wizard of Oz.

Anyway, after that we popped up to our local Strawberry Corner Garden Centre to have a wander round, getting some hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallows), meeting some of our neighbours in the process. I also got talking to this lovely lady, and we discussed all things Christmassy as well as geraniums (she was so nice) It was all very Hallmarky festive.

Back home now, so Martin can go to work.

Update: just realised that Kansas City is not actually in Kansas State, it’s in Missouri State … oops!
