Tea time

Many years ago on holiday in France we bought ourselves a tea service. Six cups and saucers, milk jug, sugar basin and six plates. We thought it was a lovely souvenir of our holiday in France. It wasn’t until we got it home that we turned it over to find the maker’s name and discovered ‘Made in England’ !
The tea cups were in use today because our dear neighbour came round for a chat. She wanted to give us the details of a neighbours get together she is organising on Saturday. She is a very busy person so we don’t often get the chance of a chat and we heard news of her children and grandchildren.
