1ST SUNDAY IN ADVENT !

I went to Church today by taxi but was given a lift home ,which was really nice ,thank you Ann, it was a lovely service for Advent, the beginning of the church year , so Happy New Year to the church community?
The decoration of the church had begun with the Christmas tree & The prayer tree in preparation. Yesterday's Christmas Market made over 2 thousand pounds, very good for this event.
A & I then went to Farliegh Golf Club for a carvery lunch, I can manage this type of meal as I can select the right amount of food. The tables were all very festive with Christmas Cracker & lovely crisp white table linen. For me this sets the enjoyment of the occasion . The staff were attentive the food great ,atmosphere & outlook lovely. All in all a brilliant day .
Now to settle down to watch Strictly Results, hard to choose who should go as the standard is so good now.
