Advent…

.. and lighting my Advent Candle.
Darkness will not overwhelm me..
Quite appropriate on a day that I felt relief.. and humility
Relief that yesterday was enjoyed by all involved
Relief that the doctor rang early enough, that I could get to church.
Relief that he suggested , and will book, x rays on my knees .Humility, that I could see and understand the benefits of a phone call pre surgery visit… ( but a Sunday means the NHS is spending a lot of money!!)
.. and … relief that I found time today to make and start my own Advent journal!!.. ( and make a very humble Advent candle that will do the job!!!!)
… and more thoughts in humility in the teaching in church by mishkid.. so much to think about!!
