Prestatyn
SUNDAY
A drive over to Prestatyn this afternoon for the "Winter Fest." The town was buzzing with craft and charity stalls, food outlets, music, and fairground rides.
Lunch at the M&S café, then a walk along the promenade and beach as the sun started to set— see photo.
This evening, the Tremeirchion 2000 community group lit up the village tree by the phone box. It’s the first of several festive events in the run-up to Christmas Eve. There was a good turnout, with glasses of fizz, Baileys, mince pies, and chocolates to share. It was nice to catch up with everyone.
We ended the day with a surprise FaceTime from Harriet and George in New Zealand. It’s already Monday there—they were about to set off on their way to Wellington. Always great to hear from them.
