Next Alium Crop?

       I say "Alium" on account of not being 100% sure.  They were bought as Leeks - BUT - with typical skill and efficiency, they were promptly neglected to death. 
       I know what the seeds look like, but I know the Leeks did die; I can guarantee I've sown nothing.  The Tray, however has been sitting in water, so I'm guessing it was too thickly sown and the deeper ones never germinated.
       That saying again?  "We shall see."  Mebbe? 
Inset - a closer look at the base of one; I wonder if "Leeklets" start with a tiny Bulb at base?


WHO the @!£$%^&* set up the resident Spell Checker? I had to teach it that "Aliums" IS a valid word; it wanted Alum.
