Big Dog, Little Legs
I spent from 8:30 this morning until 4 this afternoon photographing the Dog Rally event - a total blast, if I'm being honest. Quite a few repeat dogs from the last event I did in early November, but also a lot of new (to me) dogs, including not one but three Cardigan Welsh Corgis, each one cuter than the next. This is Junior who did very well in every event he entered today. In this shot, the judge is presenting him with his ribbons for the morning - he's not all that impressed.
Another favorite for me was a wire-haired dachshund, in Extra. Definitely one of the cutest dogs I've ever seen, looking quite a lot like a little old man. Well, to be honest, all the dogs were my favorites and I thoroughly enjoyed myself today. Now, however, I have to go through almost 4,000 images and whittle them down to a manageable number to share with the owners.
Jax was very interested in sniffing every inch of my clothing when I got home - obviously, he knew I'd been cheating on him although he wasn't put off by it. Guess he knows he remains my favorite of all favorites.
Hubs made a delicious meal of grains and vegetable tonight and we are now going to watch something on TV before I crash.
