At the Hand and flowers

Staying at the Hand and Flowers (Tom Kerridge's restaurant) tonight had a lovely meal starter was salt cod scotch egg with chorizo main was chateaubrian with Spinach, chili and chips and dessert was raspberry and rosewater souffle it was really nice but what makes the difference between a one star and two star restaurant I cannot really see and all the hype about his chips is too much in my opinion my mum's chips are better but maybe I am bias.
