The morning after the day before!

We had such a lovely time in the lakes yesterday. Noticed MP limping a bit this morning so took her to the vet to check out her paw. Result - a mega (expensive) bandage necessitating the "cone of shame". At least it's so hot and she's so tired from our expedition yesterday that she's not seeking action today.

In addition to the paw incident, my car was also rear-ended at the end of our day in the lakes, so I made all the necessary phone calls today. No-blame claim so should all be quite straightforward, and no-one was injured.

Heading over to SD's tonight to celebrate a significant birthday.
