Old rambling rose

I think its called Veilchenblau.  It was in our garden when we bought the house, growing up against a south wall. When I was reading the description of it in a plant catalogue tonight it said it doesn't mind growing in the shade. It certainly is very happy where it is.  Its taken over the wall. It  flowers only once in a season.
