Long Tall John

The central square in the quarter where my nephew and his family live was the place to be this eve as Agios Vasilis (Santa Claus) arrived with his helpers, some Elfs and Long Tall John (Psilo-podaros); he shared sweets with the children. Greeks of all generations filled the square and the atmosphere they created was so happy and relaxed; wonderful!

Thank you all lots for your visits and reactions; altho' posting my entry now on Monday morning, I am lack time to react now as I must take the road for visiting a friend her in Athens, so I will react later on again.
