youth of today

My eldest daughter has been part of the rowing team in the International Youth Games that have been held this week in Lancaster - she has had an absolute blast. We have had two of the German rowers staying with us, which has been lovely. Their English is pretty OK but with an imaginative six year old to explain everything they didn't quite get, it has been no problem!

They left early this morning and this afternoon I welcomed back my son after a week at Scout Camp - we have had so many people to stay recently that it has been like musical beds in our house these last few weeks!
