The Last Celebration

We landed from Luxembourg at lunchtime and went straight out for Sunday lunch with friends who had missed last weekend’s celebrations due to the floods. So lovely to see them.
We then headed for Enfield for an evening party with friends there - hosted at fellow blipper windychickens house and catered by our own lovely son and daughter-in-law. They had worked so hard to prepare a wonderful spread with everything made from scratch, including dips and flat breads (who knew you didn’t just buy them??).
It was such a fun evening with games and quizzes and a really beautiful and thoughtful gift of a necklace and bracelet from all the friends there.
A wonderful way to end my 60th birthday celebrations. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve done and I’ve felt really blessed to have such lovely family and friends to celebrate with.
Home to Wales tomorrow. I’ll need a break from partying before Christmas starts!!
