So, the Night Nurse pills did work last night! But I’m still coughing during the day - I sound like an old lifetime smoker.

Chrissy, JR’s gym buddy, came round to see the holiday photos. And so I was quite happy to cancel my physio appointment a) because I haven’t really been doing my exercises, though I did take my rubber stretchy band with me and b) because it’s much better - I just have to be careful of some movements.

I then took Archie round the Links, and we met Buttons, a lovely big hairy Australian labradoodle. She is 14, and her dad and I had a chat about lumps and bumps and vet bills in general.

In the afternoon we decided to walk across the Meadows to have a look in the Asian supermarket. And on the way back we popped in to the wee cafe for a coffee (and a raspberry pastry).

My step count was fairly spectacular today, well, the best since I’ve been home. (8,198)
