Forsythia, Edit: oh no it’s not… winter jasmine

A bit of an energetic day. Susan was out with retired teacher friends and I had a FaceTime with my friend John - we do this every now and again since he moved away from Kent. I’ve known John 60 years. We go back along way from our school days in Wellington (Shropshire)

Afterwards I went for a run. Much better than last Thursday when I went before any breakfast. A good run, less slowly and further than last time.

After lunch Susan wanted a walk so we retraced the route I’d run this morning. Felt good even though I’ve covered over 10 miles today.

I confess to having a little nap when we got in. Uketok this evening. Better get on with dinner.
