The School Run

Mid morning I had my annual  Optician's appointment and the good thing is  my eyesight is still excellent with only reading glasses needed in poor light!

I did a food shop and headed home for a couple of hours before we left to do the school run. I spotted the Skirrid mountain near Abergavenny (Monmouthshire, South Wales UK) had cloud just touching the top. Luckily I found a farm gate near to take a photo' of it.

Granddaughter Amelia hasn;t been well this weekend and it was only this morning it was decided she'd go to school. She fell asleep on the way back to ours but after ten minutes on the sofa was awake and ate a bit.

We'll be up early to take her back to school.
