Birch Wood
A really mild start to December. I go out for a walk after a couple of chores. There is moisture in the air as I set off. fortunately it is not heavy enough to warrant wearing a hood. Blip shows the path heading to the park, showing the birch wood, with a dark sycamore tree in the foreground. After morning coffee, a bit of tidying up.
After lunch, partner want to visit an antiques shop to investigate wooden printing blocks, and get more paper to use in construction of notebooks which use 3 1/2 inch floppy discs as covers. As a buses are currently diverted, we head in to town, get the paper first, then head to the antiques shop. We then walk back in to town. A wee rain shower is a worry as we have washing hung out to dry. By the time we reach a café, it is dark. After coffee, we head home. Fortunately, the rain we walked through was very localised. While not totally dry, it is better than having to use the tumble drier.
