Bookends

My Blip is the venue for my dinner this evening. 

I had been there several years ago, and the food was great. A friend has recommended it to me twice in recent weeks. I can see (and taste) why. 

To describe the place as "no frills" would be to flatter it, and the food is pretty much the same, but delicious. I had a lamb rogan josh with rice and the lamb was lean and tender. 

The Extra is my breakfast. I enjoyed it too, but the places and food could hardly be more different. 

In between I had another day on the 5th Floor being paid to polish turds put lipstick on pigs. A long day, but enjoyable.
