Surprise!

These were delivered to the Town Hall this morning. I had no idea who they were from. It turned out they were from the couple I had stopped to help who were stuck in the floodwater. We were both Julie’s and I mentioned where I worked. How very lovely of them. I chaired Lancashire Development Plans Officer Group this morning and under AOB I announced my departure. I’ve known many of them for 25 years plus. It was very strange saying goodbye. They sent some lovely messages afterwards.
