Smile a while...

Today was a bit more productive than yesterday, which wasn't hard :-)

D took Lola to the vet for her check up.  Passed with flying colours and charmed the receptionists who made a huge fuss of her and asked to take her photo for their social media pages.

Meanwhile I forced myself into the studio to start the two commission paintings.  It took a little while to get my head into the right space but once I did, sketches for both drawings developed quickly.  I reached the stage where the sketches can now be developed into the full drawing then painting can commence...just need to decide on whether to use hot or cold pressed paper.

Reminded Alan that his pal Andrew was coming to stay for a couple of nights and he was very happy. 

David arrived back with Lola just before Aliyah and Alan returned having picked Andrew up in Dundee.

They had a swim followed by dinner.  After that D got the Christmas decs from the loft.  We will commence the decorating tomorrow.  Watched Mamma Mia whilst organising dinner out with Agnes and Adrian for D's birthday later in the month. 

Really need to get my finger out with Christmas shopping!
