Another Very Cold Day

But beautiful sun, nonetheless! I got out for a walk this morning and enjoyed looking at all the frosty plants and lawns. Love the way the ice crystals have formed on this Spanish Lavender.

My sister-in-law came over for a visit today - we went to a furniture consignment store - she's winding up a renovation on her house here in Portland and was looking for some furniture. Then we had a marvelous lunch at a local gastropub. I had some terrific shrimp (gluten free!) tacos. I really appreciated that the restaurant had a separate menu of gluten free options...made it so much easier to order!
