Malaga's best kept secret
Today the Classic Car Museum was a real treat: the building that houses the cars, the old tobacco factory, is a stunning piece of architecture! And the cars, wow! I hadn't quite known how much I love a fine car! You can see examples here and here. I adore the smooth lines of the dolce vita cars. You can hire some of the cars... next time maybe...
Back in the centre of the city, the film festival was in full swing as we prepared to take ourselves up to the top floor of the best hotel in town for pre-dinner drinks on the terrace. On arrival however, we found that this was precisely where the film festival was in full swing - the crowds were thronging the entrance waiting for the stars to appear. We bravely made our way past the crowds and boldly through the hotel door and into the lobby, and then confidently headed for the lift (thanks for the tip Andrew, without which we might have shied away at this point). Amazingly, although the terrace was closed off for interviews, no one questioned our laying claim to seats with a stunning view and ordering our drinks. We were there, right in the midst of the rich and famous... if only we knew who they were.
As if the day hadn't been full of enough excitement we then headed for dinner at an old style restaurant/ bar for an evening of exciting flamenco music and dance.
