Nurses Strike

The nurses went on strike at 11am this morning, until 6 pm tonight. Here is link about it. We had a great view over the road from our room where the nurse's were striking. Lots of support from cars passing by. It has been interesting hearing and seeing them. Hopefully they get a good result. 

I was told at 11:30pm last night that I would be having my Pacemaker fitted this morning. They tried to get a IV line in but couldn't last night. This morning I was all prepared, the paperwork signed when around 11am it was all off, but would happen tomorrow, Wednesday, which was the original plan. It was cancelled at the last minute as the other procedure took longer than expected and the nurses were going on strike at 11am. 

We had a skeleton staff on the ward for most of day. All went well.

It has been a another hot day I have missed with being in hospital. It reached around 31c. Tomorrow is going to be hot again. Then it cools down again. When I go home.
