A Tangle of Flax Flowers…..

Early this morning I spent time studying and photographing several varieties of flax growing beside the river. Many flowers are still carrying pollen. The birds, particularly Tui and Bellbirds, are yet to feed from them.
A busy day despite the heat. 30C in the shaded parch again. A good day for drying the laundry.
