Hark the herald angels sing..................
My first port of call in Cowbridge this morning, was Holy Cross Church to see the angels i saw last week. My first impression was, as I said last week, they were a bit spooky. I guy came in just after me, with an impressive camera, and he said, if I'm in the way, let me know, so I said likewise. When I got closer, I kind of recognized him, but I wasn't sure where from. I asked him what camera he had ( a compact Canon) and then the penny dropped. He takes photos for the local paper and many years ago, I did a walk for charity ending in walking over the stepping stones in Ogmore-by -sea. He took my photo as I was the first to cross the river over the stones and my photo was in the local paper the following week. When I told him he said, I thought I knew you when I first came in. I bet his photo are better than mine, but never mind. My next stop was to check in Savers for hand warmers, and at last, they had some as well as foot warmers. I was a happy girl, so made my way to Waitrose for a coffee, and an elderly lady was just vacating her seat, and she was putting back the newspaper I wanted, so I asked her If I could have it and she said, you can have my set as well, and it was the seat I usually try to get, if it's available. A very good morning indeed. ( see extra photos)
