Kingfisher

What a huge pleasure it was to see this beautiful little chap fishing in the river this morning.  He was too far way for my current set-up, of course, and I did have a pang or two thinking of my long Fuji lens in someone else's camera bag, but don't you just have to celebrate what you're given?  I think so!

The rest of the day's been super busy and included a trip to the chemist to pick up prescriptions and a new (temporary) canine resident in the house who's owner was rushed to hospital yesterday.  I've promised myself new carpets throughout as soon as this remarkably doggy phase of my life is over!
