Lest we forget

Today’s Tiny Tuesday challenge is “Still Life with Tiny Objects”. I have previously blipped these two WW1 medals awarded to my Great Grandfather who I believe served in the navy: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3282470102712190582
One is the fairly common British War Medal of which 6.4 million were awarded. The other is a little more unusual as it is the Médaille militaire and although over 200 000 were awarded in WW1, they were mostly given to French service personnel.
