A Christmas tradition

Today F and I went to Ludlow for a pre Christmas get together with some of his family.  There were his No. 2 daughter and son in law plus his brother and sister in law.

We had a meal and a catch up of all the news.  Afterwards the grand presentation of the Christmas tree happened.  Every year his daughter officially presents the decorated tree to him then after Christmas she has it back to give him the following year.

It has happened every year including a socially distanced presentation in Lockdown.

Afterwards we went for a walk around the Christmas market in town before driving home.  There's an extra of the whole group of them.
