Glasgow

Woke up to an e Mail and text to say that the Flix bus I had booked from Broxden to Glasgow had been cancelled. There was an earlier one so parked up the car and jumped on it.

Hazel my cousin was coming in the train from Troon that got in at 11:30 and I was in at 11 so went to Cafe Nero on West Nile Street and got a coffee and pastry.

She arrived and got a coffee and we had a good chat and then a wee shop at Hotel Chocolat and Frasers. We then went to Hope Street to the Turkish restaurant that went to a couple of months ago.

The food was so good but then as I was almost finished I took another dam ocular migraine. It was the right eye this time , flashing arc and blind spot, took about 20 mins to clear and then of course fell a bit washed out.

Hazel walked me to the bus station and then a text came in to say that the bus was cancelled ! Whatbthebhell is going on . I tried to get on a megabus but it was full. I wasn’t waiting till 5:30 for the next one so decided to get a train.

Hazel went for hers and I went back into the same Nero and sat and booked a ticket for the train. I have a senior railcard so it was only 6 quid for the ticket.

Thankfully too the train had around 5 carriages for its journey to Aberdeen and got a nice seat and ate some of the chocolate I’d bought.

S picked me up at the station and we went back to the park and ride at Broxden to get my car.

Was glad to be home and relax but had a good day with Hazel.
