National Dance Day

This event, which started as a bit of an oddity and an offshoot of the popular "so you think you can dance" show has taken on quite some momentum.

To wit, this year, it was hosted by the respectable Kennedy Center, usually the hub for the finer musical arts of symphony and opera. Today, the KC boomed to the sounds of hip-hop, gangnam style, and various line dances. For the first time since I've gone to the KC, there was a preponderance of natural color hair in sharp contrast to the greys, whites and other L'Oreal-aided dos that usually make up the KC's audience. Sooo much fun! :))
