Misty
Thank goodness for animals as a late blip. She was asleep but as I put the light on her she opened her eyes. She sleeps on the top if my sewing machine, box.
Shopping today, spent a fortune, then when I added up all the dog and cat food and treats, I realised my food bill was not as bad as I thought. Those two cost a fortune. but they are worth it.
Otherwise not done very much else as walking a dog then shopping at 2 supermarkets takes up the morning, then lunch and a nap and time just flies.
I was locking the gate when my neighbour tapped on the window and waved for me to go round to hers, she has been in hospital, she said she has fluid retention in her stomach, she really didn't look well at all, and said she seemed to be forgetting things and not knowing where she was, I was quite worried about her, anyway she is going back tomorrow (Wednesday) to have some of the fluid removed. Her son lives a long way away but is in touch several times a day she said. which is good. The neighbour next door is also been keeping an eye on her and taking her shopping. I remember my mum having fluid retention, and she seemed to go quite vague not knowing where she was until they drained it off.
I used to work for the other Leeds Newspaper The Yorkshire Evening News, as did my future husband, It closed 61 years ago today 3rd of December 1963. for a good number of years following there was always a reunion on 3rd Dec every year. I wonder where they all are now, Many will have passed away. It was a great firm to work for, some of the happiest days of my working life.
Thats about it for now
