Pink sky at night...
A full day starting with an early morning shop for a friend who lives in a tent and has hurt his knee so is almost immobile. It's also his birthday today so a birthday muffin was also put into the shopping! Straight to a Bible study with a mix of people who've been reading the Bible for years and some who've only just started.
Alanna and I had coffee and attempted to get organised for the weeks ahead with church...and then Danny picked me up to go deliver John's shopping. His knee is all swollen and he's clearly in pain. He has no documents so doesn't think he can even go to A&E... I must double check that....
We had community prayer walk this afternoon, based around psalm 24. Such a good time together. And then as the boys went off to football training, Asha and I came for a scenic route walk to Caña Club. We took a totally nonsensical route that was very beautiful, and it was so good to have that time with her.
Caña Club and we ended up having quite a crowd. An emotional one as one of the friends is in a truly horrible life situation, so lots of tears from them. Life together with all the highs and lows.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Moments of still and reflection in a full day.
2) Bumping into L on our way home from CC and having a good chat with her.
3) Asha opening up and talking more about various things.
