Signs

After Mass this morning, I headed to the Mall to take back the lampshade I bought yesterday. It just didn't work in the laundry, so it's back to the drawing board. The ceiling is quite low, so I think I need something a little less 'in your face'.

Then for a dog walk, before stacking the rest of the wood, doing some schoolwork and some tidying. Cousteau and I took a stroll around the garden, looking for signs of spring. We found them in abundance. Great to see the wee shoots, daffodils waving in the springlike breeze. It took me a moment to remember that we have over a month of winter left. Still, we've enjoyed the beautiful weather we've had over the past couple of days.

I had a go at making a 'green smoothie', and it was surprisingly tasty - savoy cabbage, water, banana, some frozen strawberries, apple, orange and kiwifruit. Health in a glass!

I'm going to have an early night tonight; school starts back tomorrow.
