Carrot Cake

We had a good few days away in Manchester and it as lovely to spend time with step-son.  Train slightly delayed coming home but all good in the end.

No 2 son arrives later today so there is a lot of prep going on, including making carrot cake which is de rigeur.  I am required to use the same recipe that I have used for over 30 years (but without the walnuts!)
